Ferro Taylor's music balances between structured songs and abstract soundscapes. Abrupt transitions shift unexpectedly from one scene to another, while subtle overlaps suggest musical coexistence. Their compositions stretch from the concrete to the abstract and back, as if each song has a counterpart in a less tangible mirror world. The music is defined by its changing states, with varied influences still recognizable in their abstract forms. Beats are often present but only hinted at.
Their live performances explore the possibilities of technical interconnection. Instrument boundaries and sound origins blur through mutual live sampling and triggering each other's parameters. Pre-recorded samples, some from their earlier works, create links to the past.
Seyhan and Schneider have collaborated for ten years, starting in the Friendly Guitar Trio. They are also two-thirds of the experimental pop band GLAM, with Gloria Amesbauer.
